The Eagle's Nest, Germany
The Eagle's Nest is a house built for Hitler for his 50th birthday. It's high up into the mountains and has an elevator built deep into the mountain that goes up to it. The funny thing is that he didn't like it since he was afraid of heights and clostrophobic. All of the pictures are of the views or the house. On the tour, they said the cross was put up as a memorial to the Jews and Christians who were killed by the Nazi regime.
