During the visit of some friends, we all went to see Neuschwanstein, the castle that Disney modeled theirs after. It was an amazing place. What most impressed us was the paintings inside the castle. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to take pictures from inside. Also, we weren't able to take the classic view of the castle because of the snow and the length of the climb. In any case, this will give you some idea of what it looks like. The yellow castle was the residence of the king while the white one was being built.
